Actor Vishnu Vishal, who was stranded in Karapakkam, shared pictures of his rescue by the fire and rescue department, revealing that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was also stuck with him during the tumultuous weather conditions. The city has grappled with two days of standstill, with rescue operations underway.

Vishnu Vishal took to social media to express gratitude to the fire and rescue department for their assistance in the rescue efforts. Minister of Industries for the state, Dr TRB Rajaa, commended Aamir Khan for his patience during the rescue operations, highlighting his grounded approach and the absence of attempts to leverage his status for special treatment.

The actor's mother was under the care of a private medical facility in Chennai. The actor wanted to be by her side during this crucial time. Sources also revealed that Aamir has planned to stay at a hotel close to his mother’s treatment centre so that he can be around her whenever required.
